Now the year is coming to a close, I’ve been thinking recently about everything I’ve read this year. The year started with me signing up to participate in the Goodreads Reading Challenge 2013 , and wanting to read 45 books. Then, in April and October , I took part in the Dewey’s Read-a- thon for the second and third time , and October marked my first complete year of participating in the Read-a-thon: the first time I participated being in October 2012. As it turned out , I read 22 books and had to change my Reading Challenge to that number of books. I decided to read 22 books as 22 is an important number for me as my birthday is on the 22nd , and I have won a very small amount on the lottery a few times when using the number 22, so I guess you could say it is kind of a lucky number too. I completed the Reading Challenge though, which I’m proud of. I would have read more, but I spent November writing my novel, Spellbrooke. Here’s the list of what I read, and next year I plan to read 100 books or more. I hope you had a happy Christmas and have a happy new year .
